Narrative :
HAEDES, on behalf of the Department of Environment and the Flemish Environment Agency (VMM), carried out a study to identify the needs and framework for a central web platform focused on climate adaptation in Flanders. As part of the Flemish Climate Adaptation Plan (VAP), this platform offers policymakers, professionals, and the public access to information, subsidies, best practices, and tools.
Our touch :
At HAEDES we are aware that broad stakeholder process is essential for the creation of an inclusive and effective platform. Therefore we:
- Worked in close collaboration with experts, policymakers, and local communities through workshop and in depth interviews and sessions,
- Assessed the support, relevance, and modalities needed for a powerful tool, based on the input from stakeholders and the clients
- Developed an evidence-based business plan, built on the input gattered during the meetings with the stakeholders
