Narrative :

Roteiro Naval Carbono Zero – RNCZ was set to define a clear decarbonization trajectory and specific targets for the 2025-2050 period, regarding the Naval Construction, Repair and Maintenance sector. Promoted by Fórum Oceano and the Confederação Empresarial do Alto Minho (CEVAL), and funded by PRR, the project pose a cross-sectoral representation of the sector and other synergistic sectors of the blue economy by addressing solutions and potentialities for three vectors: i) reducing industry emissions; ii) electrification from renewable sources; and iii) reduction of raw materials consumption.
