My deep love and appreciation of nature stems from my childhood trips to Wondo Genet, Ethiopia, where I realized how profoundly nourishing nature can be for the mind and body. It was also there where my curiosity was sparked about how water interacted with its surrounding natural elements. This experience influenced my educational trajectory, ultimately motivating me to attain an MSc degree in Water Resources Engineering.

Building on this foundation, my passion now lies in distilling intricate datasets into practical and insightful information. Inspired by nature’s harmony, my role in HAEDES is to build digital tools and models that address challenges faced when utilizing water resources. I am excited to immerse myself in this environment surrounded by diverse perspectives and contribute to innovative solutions that make a meaningful impact.
