With a background in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, and a PhD in Civil Engineering from KU Leuven, I’m driven by a fascination for complex fluid behavior—particularly the dynamic interactions between water and the seabed. I’ve combined experimental and numerical approaches to better understand and model these processes. At HAEDES, I look forward to bridging academic insights with real-world engineering challenges, especially in sustainable port and coastal development, including nature-based solutions. I enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams and sharing knowledge, and I’m eager to contribute to innovative, practical solutions that support both clients and the environment.
